Delete it in the app
- Open Muster on your phone and sign in.
- Tap More, then Delete account.
- Read the warning, then enter your password to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out on every device.
If you're the company owner, this deletes the whole company. That includes every project, time entry, daily log, task, incident report, toolbox talk, material request, photo and document, and every team member loses access. The app will warn you before you confirm. If you want the company to keep going, ask us to help transfer ownership first.
Cancel your subscription separately. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play. Deleting your account doesn't cancel billing on its own. Cancel in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
What gets deleted
- Team members: your profile (name, email, phone number and password) and your login sessions. Records you created for your company's projects, such as time entries, daily logs, task updates, photos and safety reports, belong to your company. They stay in its account under "Former member", without your name or contact details, so its records remain complete.
- Owners: your profile and the entire company account with all of its data and files, as listed above.
What we keep, and for how long
- Deleted data is removed from our live systems right away and from backups on their normal rotation, within 30 days.
- We may keep limited records where the law requires it or for legitimate business reasons, such as billing and tax records, or records needed to prevent fraud and abuse. These are kept only as long as needed.
- Google keeps its own records of Google Play purchases under Google's privacy policy.
Can't get into the app?
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you, then delete your account within 30 days and let you know when it's done. You can also ask us to delete specific data without deleting your whole account.
